Use Home details for utility providers, service notes, home systems, meters, panels, valves, and other locations you want the household to find again. Emergency brings the call list and saved shutoff locations together for quick reference. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number first. Approach or operate a shutoff only when it is safe and emergency responders or the utility have not told you to wait.
Steps
- Open More, then Home details, and add the provider or location using plain directions someone else can follow.
- Open Emergency and confirm the right contacts and shutoff notes are easy to recognize.
Does not
- Tell you it is safe to approach gas, power, fire, flooding, structural damage, or another hazard.
- Contact a utility, change service, or dispatch emergency help.
Escalate when
- A saved location is missing, Emergency shows the wrong home, or a provider or shutoff note will not save.
