Answer

Costs is a household ledger for expenses you enter, such as utilities, repairs, insurance, taxes, and other home spending. It shows year-to-date totals and groups expenses by category. Recorded replacement value is the total of replacement values you entered on Home items. These figures are personal records. They are not bank data, tax preparation, market values, appraisals, or insurance valuations.

Steps

  1. Open More, then Costs, and choose Add an expense.
  2. Add the amount, date, category, payee, and note you want to remember. Review item replacement values from Home items.

Does not

  • Connect to a bank, pay a bill, prepare taxes, or verify an expense.
  • Estimate market value, replacement cost, insurance coverage, or depreciation.

Escalate when

  • A transaction will not save, a total is calculated incorrectly, or an expense appears under the wrong home.
