When a realtor relationship is active, Your agent can show the agent’s contact information, messages you choose to exchange, allowed updates, and a home value the agent entered manually. The app identifies that value as realtor-provided. It is not generated by Edmund or AI, verified by Edmund, or an appraisal. Messages you send are shared with the connected agent, but opening a conversation does not open the rest of your household book.
Steps
- Open More, then Your agent, to review contact information or start a message.
- Check Settings whenever you want to change attribution, realtor updates, or co-branded email choices.
Does not
- Give the realtor access to photos, videos, serials, documents, contacts, codes, or other private home records.
- Treat a realtor-provided value as an appraisal, offer, listing price, or Edmund estimate.
Escalate when
- A message reaches the wrong agent, a value is presented without the realtor disclosure, or private book details appear on the desk.
